Welcome to the Kalispell Ski Club
If your looking at this page your interested in enrolling your child within our program. Here is some important dates and information regarding it.
Lessons will start this year on January 11th. They will run till March 15th.
Enrollment will end on Jan 1st.
Our program enrollment age is 6, however we will take some 5 year old children on a case by case basis. To inquire about that please reach out to use via email.
We take presidents day weekend off every year, so there will be no lessons on that Saturday.
We host a Varity of events through out the year with raffles and giveaways.
The last day of lessons is always a family race day and BBQ.
We hold two different races on this day. In the morning we hold the Family Cup. Each family member from kids to grand parents race individually. We then combine times in multiple different categories such as sibling/sibling, mother and father/child, grandparent/grand kid, and even husband/wife. We then tally up all those points and award a large family cup and travailing trophy. All in all its a blast for everyone of all ages. After that race concludes we hold our last session of lesson and each student gets the opportunity to run the coarse for fun. In-between each of those we host a large BBQ with everything provided.
In the middle of February we host a large benefit Dinner. We pack a huge dinning hall and the KSC Board serves everyone a dinner. As were doing that we play multiple games as well as host our silly $1 auction. This is a random chance game where $1 can win you tons of stuff up to new pairs of skis. This evening is a great way to get to know the people around you and win some great prizes, all while eating a free meal!
We are a volunteer based club and we are always looking to grow our volunteer base. Some of the benefits we offer for volunteering is discounts at our ski swap, free season passes to on snow volunteers, and life long friendships with like minded people! If you are interested in volunteering its as simple as emailing us to learn more about it. If your looking for a season pass and want to help on the snow but are telling your self your not a good enough skier..... Firstly we can use all help at all levels of skiing. Some times we just need help riding a beginner level chair with children. Secondly, we can help make you a better skier as we offer inhouse instruction with PSIA level instructors. We can take your skiing to the next level and insure your children don't leave you behind in a cloud of snow dust!
We host a dinner each febuary where we get together and give away thousands in ski gear and local gift cards as well as play fun games.
